Congress Passes Drug Legislation Fixing Crack Disparity. Is it good? What's your opinion?

• The Real News
On Wednesday, the House voted to reduce the disparity in the sentencing of people caught with crack cocaine vs. powder cocaine. Before, in order to be charged with a felony, crack users need to posses 5 grams of crack, powder cocaine users needed to be caught with 500 grams. This 100-to-1 disparity has been a frequent means for debate over the last several years. In order to be charged with a felony under the new law, a user must posses a minimum of 28 grams of crack cocaine. This greatly narrows the disparity gap from 100-1 to 18-1.

Another sad thing about getting jailed involving Drugs, IS;  A person gets years and sometimes Life for Violations, the same way with Murder.   OH Don't give them the Death Penalty,  Give them Life without the Posssibility of Parole.  KEEP the Sorry Butts there so they can enjoy the Free Foof, Housing, Medical Care, TV, etc,  ALL at Taxpayer Expense.  What about All of the Honest Decent Harworking People, the Seniors that can't get a Raise on their Social Security, Because The Government and All of their Corruption Don't Care.  It's Time, when a person is Convicted of a Crime against Humanity,  Give them a Maximum of 10 days to File their Appeals, 30 day Maximum, the 31st day set for Execution.  Sound Hard ????   Think the Crime Rate wouldn't go down, there wouldn't be More Money for the Honest Citizens ????  I'm ALL FOR IT.

WELL, Is All of the Government and the Whitehouse preparing to get off with Light Sentences if they are caught with Drugs ???  What Percentage of Our Government would be Jailed for Drugs and Under the Influence of Drugs and What Kind of Drugs would be found in OUR Whitehouse ??????

My  Personal guess would be about 75 % of Our Government and ALL of the Whitehouse Staff,  INCLUDING  MR. Obama and his Gay Companion, Mike Emanuel, who both have a life membership in the Gay Men's Club in Chicago.

What's the Holdup in getting Rid of the Trash in OUR Whitehouse and Government ????

If you were sentenced to life in prison for possession of a toot of crack or your judicial proceedings have already started tough shit.  But for the rest, now you too can ONLY be imprisoned for many, many years just like any other coke head.  Progress.

Since CONgress passes drug laws with only the welfare of their masters, The People who have unwisely decided to freely ingest a substance into themselves in their pursuit of their happiness.

And since this particular drug law was passed to especially help poor people who could more afford this particular pursuit of happiness.  Does this now mean CONgress wishes to help the poor as much as it helps the rich?
