Armedia Awarded a New Contract by the Defense Intelligence Agency: Part of $6.6 billion award!

To support the DIA DoD intelligence information system enterprise, Armedia has been awarded a subcontract by Science Applications International Corporation, a prime contractor on a new contract by the Defense Intelligence Agency.

The solutions for the information technology enterprise multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a ceiling value of $6.6 billion for all awardees.


This contract is said to be the largest contract ever awarded by DIA.

Being a department of defense combat support agency, the defense intelligence provides military intelligence to war fighters, defense policymakers and force planners in support of U.S. military operations and weapon systems acquisition.

DIA, through this contract will be able to acquire the full scope of IT services and capabilities needed to accomplish its critical missions.

Armedia and other contractors, according to the subcontract, will support SAIC (News - Alert) by providing worldwide coverage for IT requirements and technical support services.  They will also be responsible to assist the government through system design, development, fielding, and sustainment of global intelligence and C2 assets vital to the security of the United States.
