The Secret World of Extreme Media?

• Sam Bushman via Liberty News Radio
Am I demonstrating the absurd by being absurd? This headline, merely a play on words, is borrowed from the recent article, "The Secret World of Extreme Militias" by Barton Gellman of Time Magazine. Is Gellman himself a "Media Lone Wolf?"

I am a nationally syndicated, radio talk show host. I’ve been a personal friend of Richard Mack for well over a decade; I’ve read his books, attended several of his presentations and sat at the dinner table with him. He is a weekly guest on my daily talk show, Liberty Roundtable, syndicated by Liberty News Radio (www.libertynewsradio.com).

I publically defend Mack's character against the misleading headline in Time Magazine that strangely replaces the facts with fiction. I have observed Mack in public and private settings and personally know of his integrity; he is a man of honor. I personally invite you to learn more about the public figure and the man.

Who is Richard Mack? He had a perfect record in law enforcement for 20 years; a graduate of the FBI National Academy and Brigham Young University. He was elected Graham County Sheriff in 1988 and served for two terms until 1997. Mack was named Elected Official of the Year by the Arizona-New Mexico Coalition of Counties and was inducted into the NRA Hall of Fame. Richard lives with his wife and family in Safford, Arizona.

In 1994, Mack and six other sheriffs from across the country, challenged the constitutionality of the Brady Bill and ultimately fought it all the way to the United States Supreme Court. Three years later, in a landmark 5-4 split decision based on the Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, Mack won his case. It's no small fact that the Supreme Court agreed with the sheriffs and not the Government.
