The TWIC/SWAC Program “Right To Work List” without public oversight has the potential of mirroring totalitarian governments that expanded to targeting workers and employers deemed politically or socially undesirable. Under TWIC/SWAC programs will U.S. Citizens that have job applications rejected or are fired, be informed their loss of employment was the (result) of being placed on a Government blacklist? What rights will job applicants and fired workers have to appeal, because U.S. Government alleged he or she is a security risk?

History can repeat itself: The Nazi Government in the name of national security first vetted workers for security jobs then moved forward to target employers that refused to fire government-blacklisted employees the Reich deemed undesirable. That enabled the Nazis to invoke fear in workers and employers to perpetuate fascism. To get most jobs in Hitler’s Germany, you had to be a member of the Nazi Party. If a snitch reported you for expressing an opinion against the Nazi Government, its authorities or Hitler you could lose more than your job. Germans out of fear would not attend or support any political activity that might be construed as inappropriate by the Reich. Now that TWIC/SWAC  Program will decide who is a security risk, who has the right to make a living at their profession, will Americans have to refrain from expressing their verbal and written opinions on the Internet so government won’t disqualify them from employment? Could receipt of email alerts, for eample from Alex Jones who exposes government corruption be enough under HLS not to provide a TWIC to someone applying or working at e.g. a construction site; will black listed Americans doing  business be denied access to office buildings to see clients or have to be escorted in and out? Citizens now without explanation are placed on No Fly Lists.
