Most people in the world face life imprisonment for premeditated murder, serial rapes, terrorism, kidnapping, habitual sex crimes, and plots against governments including treason. But not in China. In the fastest rising economy of the world, a person can face life imprisonment—even execution—for crimes that other countries may not even prosecute.
