Ten-year Rep. Jane Harman, a Democrat from California, is expected to resign from Congress soon to head the Washington-based Woodrow Wilson Center, according to three major media outlets.

NBC's Andrea Mitchell broke the news on Twitter Monday morning, writing: "[S]ources tell me Jane Harman to quit Congress succeed Lee Hamilton heading Woodrow Wilson Center, DC think tank - will be official tomorrow[.]"
