Alameda sheriffs threaten to kill paraplegic man's dog in marijuana raid

• .
As sheriffs executed the warrant at the studio, one asked Rivera about searching his home.  Rivera says the deputy threatened to kill his dog if he didn't cooperate.  "We can do this the easy way and you can take us to your house to look around," Rivera recounts the deputy saying, "or we can detain you for six hours while we get a warrant and go to your house and shoot your dog."

   So, what's new?

As sickening as such incidents are, they are becoming the norm and are only going to increase in frequency. There is absolutely nothing happening in law enforcement, today, that in any way is meant to curtail the escalating abuse of citzen(ship) rights and priviledges, across America - at every every level of the legal process.

Mostly, the problem is that there is no accountablity.  Then, there is a severe misleading and intentional conspiracy of intent and purpose that is the foundation of the notion of "protect and serve". (The reality is that the only real expectation of protection or service exists if one is amongst the few elitists, self-annointed power brokers or colusive swindlers, who pay their way through the halls of priviledge and back alleys of manipulative social position - Read that as the Congress, Executive branch, and Supreme (any) court or whatever criminal money changer(s) have managed to curry favor at any given time.)

Check it out: The courts have actually held that no citizen has recourse in tort law (file a suit) against law enforcement, mostly, since law enforcement is held to not have any ACTUAL responsibility or duty to PROTECT ANY INDIVIDUAL. The essence of protectiion is to the "public at large" - that's basically business. [About the only time a cop can be hauled into court for abusing a citizen is when he/she has actually done something and done it wrong...Cops know this.

As time passes, there are fewer and fewer "professional cops". This doesn't bother many in control, because it's easier to "corrupt and control" - ultimately, manage the population as a whole - cops and citizens who are primarily fearful, weak-willed, and prone to require mindless manipulation as a means of survival.

Good luck to us all. We're about due, after 40 or so years of bad luck. (Don't get me wrong, there isn't a chance in h--- that things will get any better. We are seeing a plan coming to fruition. The bad guys are one more murder, contrived threat, or "illegal" law away from victory. Say, "I'm really, really sorry", to your children and grandchildren.)
