Today's editorial by Anthony Wile focuses the two sides of the Occupy Wall Street protests. The bad news is the lack of focus, especially on central banking. The good news is the protest is vibrant and growing every day, thus giving real economic education a chance. Some minds may be changed and it is certainly possible that over time the movement may focus on Money Power itself rather than its derivatives.

In the meantime, it is not hard to be suspicious of the protests and their possible ongoing manipulation. More and more they may remind one of the overseas AYM-inspired protests. Eyewitness observers suggest that the deliberations of the general assembly are largely a diversion, and that real power is being increasingly concentrated in the hands of about 20 mysterious and anonymous individuals who appear to make up a kind of covert steering committee that pulls the strings on the general assembly, or else goes around it completely .... Many of them appear to be active duty or recently retired military ... "
