Police drag Occupy activists from Santorum event

Police on Monday physically dragged several Occupy Tampa protesters from an event with Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum and cited them for trespassing.

One of the men had thrown glitter at the candidate as he was he was giving his closing remarks. WESH cameras caught a man in a suit wrapping his arms around the activist and forcing him towards the door.

“Stop the hate!” the protester shouted.

A police officer was seen dragging a second activist across the floor by the hand before another officer picked up the man’s legs.

These protesters could have accomplished a lot more by other methods. It would only be expected that they would be removed from the event, however, How do you charge someone with trespass at a public event without fore warning and probable cause for that warning? It's called, due process I believe? Or is that just another euphemism  we can add to the Orwellian dictionary?

At worst, they should have just dropped these guys at the door then with a warning.

Maybe they were not in a "free speech" zone at the time of protest.

Trespass?  You gotta be kidding.
