Paul says US `slipping into a fascist system'

• By DAVID A. LIEB

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul warned the U.S. is "slipping into a fascist system" dominated by government and businesses as he held a fiery rally Saturday night upstaging established Republican Party banquets a short distance away.

The Texas congressman drew a couple thousand standing and chanting people to Kansas City's Union Station as the party's establishment dined on steak across the street at the Missouri GOP's annual conference. Kansas Republicans were holding a similar convention in a suburb across the state line.

Paul staged his rally near the nation's World War I museum, asserting that the U.S. got off track about 100 years ago during the era of President Woodrow Wilson, who led the nation through World War I and unsuccessfully advocated for the nation's involvement in a forerunner of the United Nations.

Majority of the comments come from very unhappy people. Among them are extreme critics of the Government using spiteful and hurting words. But there are happy and witty people also, positive-looking defenders of Americans and the American Government. These are full of hope that terrorists and their supporters can be suppressed, for the nation to win the war on terror. It appears to me that this is the "smart" group, a love group, the more intelligent group. I am new. Count me in. I am joining the love group against the hate group. The idea is to nip terrorism in the bud.

NDAA was passed into law not only to protect Americans from you, but this time to get you. God bless America!

You must be from another planet. It is NIH that declares you, a Government hater, suffering from "mental illness". Read my lips. It is you that the NIH studies discovered seriously mentally ill for hitting the Government like a punching bag on a daily basis, like how you either beat up your dog or abuse your wife  everyday.

Yep, the National Institute of Health is definitely suffering from mental illness.

Furthermore, the NDAA was created NOT to protect Americans from terrorists, but to protect the government from Americans.

Why is it that governments always end up becoming the very thing they were created to prevent?

Yes, Panot ... but first, you must give your "mental massage" to Ron Paul. Like my crooked English, he ain't thinking straight.

I agree 100 percent to what you said, Ufactdirt. "They" ... need help, like a mental massage, to make them relax and think straight.

I think anti-Government head-bashers hardly realize that the Government is, using their own words "slipping towards fascism" because of their insolence. Calling themselves "sovereign citizens", not citizens of the United States, they pose a threat to national security. They don’t even know why fighting the Government the FBI declared them a threat to national security. They are deadly conked out like the Davidian Cult in Waco, Texas are in believing that the Federal Government is the No. 1 enemy of God and Man on this planet! Poor guys. Suffering such "mental illness" according to the National Institute of Health, they need help.

The FBI issued and published a WARNING February 06, 2012 of "threat from anti-government extremists". http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/02/07/us-usa-fbi-extremists-idUSTRE81600V20120207

The National Institute of Health had released a study declaring extreme hatred of Government as a form of "mental illness".

Isn’t this a timely coincidence with what I said time and time again? In this tax season, anti-Government extremists "express particular outrage at tax collection, putting IRS employees at risk," the FBI said.

For example, Larken Rose a tax felon, and his kind in FreedomPhoenix.com had suggested shooting cops besides resisting to pay tax, and raving mad were calling cops, the IRS and the Government unprintable names!.

To protect the Government and public officials from this threat, I expect the FBI to conduct their "pick up" round sooner than later. In this website, we may say bye bye to Larken Rose and his kind any day.

Why do you think Congress decided to pass NDAA as an extreme necessity to boost our national security preparedness -- just for fun? You must be kidding

I love you, Ron Paul, but America is NOT SLIPPING into fascism.... the USA is in free fall deep in the abyss of fascism. We slipped over the edge quite a few years ago. After the National Defense Authorization Act for 2012, it should be quite clear we live in an unrestrained fascist police state. A federal judge even recently ruled the usurper Obama could not be tried for Social Security fraud and identity theft simply because he was president. As Richard Nixon once said, "If the president does it, it is not illegal." A very kingly perspective, eh? Obama has most flagrantly flaunted the law while imposing draconian law enforcement upon the American people. We have a dictatorship, people. Live free or die trying!

There is a lot of anti-Government revolutionaries in this website, their hatred of Government is a form of "mental illness" the National Institute of Health declared, and anti-Government "sovereign citizens" fighting the Federal Government are listed by the FBI as terrorists -- exactly what I have been saying time and time again. Too much of a coincidence which is, to say the least, shocking!

The third group of terrorists recently declared and published by the FBI are "sovereign citizens", and these are Ron Paul followers at least here in FreedomPhoenix.com. Just like Ron Paul, to them the Federal Government is a fascist government, want to get rid of the Fed, have their own "central bank", and change the dollar to gold as money or medium of exchange. They don't consider themselves citizens of the United States but citizens of the State where they reside, hence they owe no allegiance to the U.S. Government. As the third threat to national security, "sovereign citizens" may be rounded up by Homeland Security or Ron Paul quits the race, whichever comes first, but the drama does not end there.
