Today In Reasons to Be Killed If You're Black: Asking For Medical Help
• http://www.commondreams.org, by Abby Zimet Kenneth Chamberlain Sr., a black 68-year-old former Marine with a heart condition, was shot and killed in his home by White Plains, N.Y., police who responded to a false alarm from his medical alert pendant. Though he repeatedly told them he was okay, they broke down his door, tasered him and shot him dead; the medical devise recorded audio of the event.
