Thousands of chanting, cheering supporters flooded the University of
Texas campus to show Ron Paul some love Thursday night, undaunted by the
prospect that the Texas congressman is a long shot for the GOP
presidential nomination.
There is more to winning than victory at the polls, Paul told the crowd, which broke into occasional chants of "President Paul."
"I'm convinced a revolution is going on. It is an intellectual revolution," Paul said.
"It is going to be difficult, but it is always glorious to have
success. And we will have success," he said. "Regardless of what happens
next week, next month, November — the spirit of this revolution is not
going away."
