As coalition government talks in Greece falter under disagreements over austerity and bailout terms, journalist Panagiotis Sotiris tells RT that the country is now actually choosing between austerity and democracy.
Sunday did not bring any solutions to the stalled negotiations between the country's four leading parties to form a coalition government. On the contrary, as the radical leftist Syriza party pulled out from the talks, the situation has become only more complicated. The remaining three parties (the socialist PASOK, conservative New Democracy and the Democratic Left party) have until Thursday to agree on a cabinet, or the country will once again go to the parliamentary poll.
