Police in Florida are still looking for the person who allegedly shot two people at a Walmart in Tallahassee, the most serious reported instance of violence in the midst of the “Black Friday” holiday shopping maelstrom.

The Tallahassee Democrat reported that police were interviewing witnesses in order to get a description of the shooter.

The two victims were taken to a nearby hospital and treated for non life-threatening wounds. The store was briefly shut down after authorities responded to reports of gunshots being fired in front of the store.

“I don’t think that it had anything to do with merchandise,” said one shopper, Kollet Probst, who huddled in a restroom with other shoppers after hearing gunfire. “It was so odd and unprovoked that it just doesn’t seem like it was a Black Friday mob.”

Meanwhile, the Jackson Clarion-Ledger reported that a mob scene broke out at a Walmart in Moultrie, Georgia, as shoppers pushed and shoved at one another while trying to get a smart phone. At least six police officers were on hand to try to maintain the peace in the store.
