Minimum Wage

• Daily Paul.com
There has been a lot of talk about the minimum wage being increased recently. If the argument is made that a person cannot subsist on a certain wage and the wage must therefore be increased, can we at least decide that maybe not every job out there is a job meant to take care of every bill some person might have. Come to think of it, is it the employer's responsibility to even consider this? (I admire those who would freely hire at a higher wage than others.) So...if clearly a certain job is filled primarily by high school kids after school, does the old "This wage isn't enough for a man to live off of" argument really apply? I mean, does some 16 year kid really need $9 an hour?
