Boston bombings suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev left note in boat he hid in

• CBS News (video)

The note -- scrawled with a marker on the interior wall of the cabin -- said the bombings were retribution for U.S. military action in Afghanistan and Iraq, and called the Boston victims "collateral damage" in the same way Muslims have been in the American-led wars. "When you attack one Muslim, you attack all Muslims," Tsarnaev wrote.

Was it a red marker? Maybe it was all written in blood.

I laughed when I first saw this too. Didn't have anything to write with but he left a note anyway. Was he that naked guy crawling out of the boat without a scratch on him??? Come on, come on, come on....

OK, I stopped laughing.  Anyone believe this to be true?  As much as the authorities couldn't wait to talk about stuff, weeks later, 'Oh, BTW he left a confession note.'

If true, mighty convenient.
