Egypt bloodshed: At least 95 killed as troops clear pro-Morsi camps

• NBC News
At least 95 people were killed and 874 injured, the country’s health ministry said, as unrest spread to other parts of the country.
Witness reports and pro-Morsi volunteers at the camp put the toll much higher, but the none of the higher figures could be immediately confirmed by NBC News.

Unverified pictures posted to social media showed dozens of bodies after tear gas and gunfire engulfed protest camps at Rabaa and Nahda in Cairo.Pro-Morsi protesters were seen throwing stones and Molotov cocktails at troops, Reuters reported. Security sources said six police officers were killed and 12 injured during the operation.

More than 300 people have already died in political violence since the army deposed Morsi exactly 12 months into his four-year term as president.
