NBC is bringing you all of the Winter Olympics starting tonight

•, Evan Ackerman
And there may even be some other sports involved as well.
NBC (the parent company of Syfy) will be broadcasting all of the Winter Olympics, starting tonight (Thursday night) with early events including Team Figure Skating and Freestyle Skiing. On Friday, the opening ceremonies kick off at 4:30 PM ET (7:30 PM PT) on your local NBC affiliate. After that, look for your favorite events (i.e. biathlon and curling) on NBC, NBC Sports, MSNBC, CNBC, or USA. Sounds complicated, I know, but if you spend just a little bit of time on the well-designed and functional website here, you can easily see how it all fits together.
Alternatively, NBC is being super cool for these Winter Olympics by streaming every single phase of every single competition (all 15 of them) live, online, for free, as long as you've got a cable subscription. So those of you who have a particular affinity for watching things besides people skiing around while shooting stuff, or yelling absurdly loudly at slippery rocks, NBC's got you covered.
