3D Printers Becoming Child's Play?

Hasbro announces an agreement with designer 3D Systems which could revolutionize the toy market for children. Both companies are remaining quiet about the partnership. The agreement may cover manufacture of Hasbro products, or could lead to the first 3D printer made for kids. Young people could easily manufacture items using such a toy. The new device could be introduced later this year. Hasbro's chief executive Brian Goldner said, "We believe 3D printing offers endless potential to bring incredible new play experiences for kids and we're excited to work with 3D Systems, a recognized industry leader in this space." Hasbro also announced they are working with Hershey's to develop printable chocolates. Such a printer will require plans to manufacture items, and these will likely be sold by Hasbro.
