U.S. drone strike in Yemen kills New Zealander and Australian
• Indian DefenceU.S. drone strikes directed against suspected terrorists have been blasted by human rights groups because they don't allow for a trial and can result in killing innocent bystanders. Yet, a U.S. federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit against the Obama administration officials for the 2011 drone strike killings of three U.S. citizens in Yemen which included an Al-Qaeda cleric.
International Business Times has reported a U.S. drone has killed Aussie foot soldiers in Yemen. Back in 2013 two Australian foot soldiers were reportedly killed by a U.S. drone strike which took place in Yemen.
These Aussie soldiers are said to have been killed during a counter-terrorism operation and there have been few official comments on the incident.
