Portable wind turbine is the green way to charge your devices

• http://www.dvice.com, Robin Burks
And when you’ve got a device with a dead battery and no electrical outlet in sight, what do you do? There are solar chargers out there, but what happens if you don’t have sunlight to power those?

This is where Trinity comes in. Trinity is a small wind turbine that you can easily carry with you, or in your bag, that basically puts the power of a wind turbine station in your pocket. You just plug in your USB-compatible device and the turbine generates up to 15 watts of power with its 15,000 mAh built-in battery. Trinity will work pretty much anywhere you take it. You just unfold the legs from the 12-inch cylinder and set it up wherever you’d like. There are even holes in the base of the legs to further strap it into place, if necessary, which might come in handy during activities such as hiking, camping or boating.

What’s even more extraordinary about Trinity is that it can recharge itself, too, making it a completely renewable energy product. Although, if you’re the impatient type, you can charge Trinity faster by using its mini USB plug to charge it via electrical outlet. But why would you want to do that when greener is better, right?
