Republican States Are Fighting Back And Ditching Common Core Common Core Is Privately Owned

Parents, your prayers are being answered as we speak. Praise God! Your children will be able to enjoy being children again without the stress of trying to learn what makes no sense to them or to you. Family time will be enjoyed again without the disturbance of common core homework.

Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin signed a bill repealing Common Core National Standards from her state schools. She is the Chairwoman of National Schools Association, one of the private groups that hold copyright of Common Core.

Yet, she knew Common Core was not working. Yes, Common Core is the first time in history a private group has owned school standards. She had the guts to reject her own organization's intiatives. Bravo to her!

South Carolina Governor, Nikki Haley signed a bill to repeal Common Core. It requires the state to design its own standards for the 2015-2016 school year.

Other states following suit are Indiana, North Carolina, Louisiana, Missouri, and Ohio. These states have Republican governors and Republican dominated legislatures.

Common Core was first designed as state aided not federal. Federal overreach has tainted Common Core. President Obama has usurped Common Core in an attempt to establish federal control of curricula testing and teaching strategies.

However, the action in Oklahoma, SC, and NC indicates the Common Core dam is breaking!
