Hillary's Lead Over Rand Paul Plummets

• Daily Paul.com

Hillary Clinton's lead over Kentucky Senator Rand Paul in a potential presidential run off has almost halved in the space of three months, with a new Zogby poll illustrating how recent scandals have hurt the former First Lady.

A new survey of likely voters conducted June 27-29 shows that Clinton's lead over Paul has plummeted from 21 points in March (53% to 32%) to just 12 points (48% to 36%).

Clinton's decline can be attributed to a number of scandals that have emerged in recent months, most notably the release of an audio tape in which Hillary boasted about representing a man accused of raping a 12-year-old girl. The former Secretary of State also riled conservatives recently when she asserted that gun control opponents should not be allowed to hold an opinion that "terrorizes" America.
