New documents reveal that many Americans have been swept up in spying conducted by the National Security Agency. Files released by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden show innocent Americans make up the majority of those targeted by the spy agency. A four month-investigation by journalists show Americans, never suspected of a crime, far outnumbered foreign targets. Many files show personal information, much of it charged with emotion. One media outlet says they will soon release up to 1.8 million documents obtained by Snowden, which they claim to possess.
