Previous Weekly Recap honoree Kacy Catanzaro is back to make another obstacle course look basic in the face of her physical prowess, and here to join her in the spotlight are long-time residents of the lady hall of fame, Whoopi Goldberg and Hillary Clinton. It's a week for the trailblazers, really. Catanzaro is the first woman to reach the finals of ANW. Goldberg was the first black woman to receive Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress Oscar nominations. Kate McKinnon is Saturday Night Live's first openly gay female cast member. Hillary Clinton is, well, Hillary Clinton. And 24-year-old football player Michael Sam is the first openly gay player in the NFL. The moral of the story this week is clear, and Mr. Sam really put it best in his ESPY Awards acceptance speech: "To anyone out there, especially young people, feeling like they don't fit in and will never be accepted, please know this: Great things can happen when you have the courage to be yourself."
