Surely exposure to such thrilling violence can't be good for the little tikes? But how do you show them that the reality of conflict is completely different and infinitely more terrifying?

Helgegren, who spent time reporting from the Middle East in his younger days, says he had not fully understood the realities of war until he had seen it with his own eyes.
