Marijuana is taking the nation by storm, state by state. Already this year, another three states approved pot legalization bills. Several more states, like Florida, Oregon - even Washington DC is putting pot up to a vote this November. Another big state ISN'T voting on recreational marijuana this fall, but they DO already allow cannabis to be used for medical purposes. The growing demand for cannabis related treatments in Illinois is creating quite a cloud of controversy. So many people are lining up for treatments, there's a major backlog. More than 2 million residents in Chicago alone are waiting for dispensaries to open up, but the city is only opening 13 locations. One of the other problems comes in because over 5 HUNDRED different locations are vying for a chance to be an approved dispensary, while the state is only planning on handing out about 60 licenses. It's a VERY interesting developing story, so today, we turn to Andrew Hard. He's from Hemp Meds.org.
