EXCLUSIVE: 7-Eleven Video Released in Antonio Buehler New Years Arrest

• http://thelibertybeat.com, by John Bush

Antonio, who was designated driver at the time, was getting gas at a 7-Eleven in downtown Austin when he witnessed two Austin Police officers violently pull the female passenger out of a car that was pulled over for a DWI stop. Antonio scolded the officers for their actions and took pictures of the incident and as a result, the officers retaliated, arresting Buehler and alleging that he spit on one of the officers. Buehler was charged with felony Harrasment of a Public Official, a charge that was no billed by a Grand Jury. Buehler was instead indicted on a charge of Failure to Obey and is currently awaiting trial.

After the incident, witness video and testimony indicated that Antonio never spit on the officer. Now surveillance footage, leaked by an anonymous source and obtained by the Liberty Beat through Antonio Buehler, appears to corroborate witness statements that Antonio Buehler never spat on Officer Oborski. The video also contradicts sworn officer statements that Buehler got up in the officer's faces.
