On October 6, former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta declared that President Barack Obama approaches the problems he faces as Chief Executive like a law professor. Speaking to Andrea Mitchell on ABC, Panetta - who also served as chief of the Central Intelligence Agency - he said Obama is "very bright" but has a flawed approach on a number of different issues. In Washington, said Panetta, a president "has to fight to get things done. That is key in Washington."
