On December 5, 1933, the 18th Amendment which enabled the national prohibition of alcohol was repealed by the 21st Amendment, making it legal once again.

I had to share this related old piece of memorabilia that hangs on the wall above my desk, originally acquired by my stepfather.

It's an old political license plate from the era supporting the repeal of the 18th.
