These are movies of our childhood (more or less) the technology in it amazed us and we or at least I wished I could have one of these cool gadgets for myself. But in today's world, many of the advanced tech gadgets we saw on the big screen can actually be seen in real life. There's no need to take out a loan or stop the payments for your mortgage to buy these either, because unlike the movies where an elite special or wealthy group had these, for the most part most of them are available to anyone; except of course traveling to the moon and owning your own military robot.

Needless to say, we must give credit to the imagination of the creators of these devices, because to a certain degree their predictions of the future were not so far off.
