Much like the Wizard of Oz, President Obama asked Americans to ignore "some website" showcasing the "conspiracy" by the Obama administration to disarm Americans and condition the country for martial law.

It's not hard to guess just what major media web site he was referring to.

Obama attempted to downplay "the notion that we are creating a plot to take everybody's guns away so that we can impose martial law" as a "conspiracy" pushed on "some website."

He was responding to a question from retired NASA astronaut Mark Kelly who said gun control critics warned that expanding background checks "will lead to a registry, which will lead to confiscation, which will lead to a tyrannical government," which is a oft-quoted statement by Alex Jones.
