Apparently, during his downtime from Rey and Ren, J.J. Abrams (and his Bad Robot cabal) were secretly putting together 10 Cloverfield Lane, a follow-up to his 2008 faux-found-footage hit. Featuring John Goodman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), and John Gallagher, Jr. (The Newsroom), 10 Cloverfield Lane appears to take place in an underground bunker, where the three idly pass the time making puzzles, reading books, and listening to classic proto-power pop tunes. Soon, though, tensions rise, and Goodman finds himself locked outside and facing down…well, we don't actually get to see what's out there, but it's clearly enough to inspire both the heebies and the jeebies. Maybe it's Randall "Tex" Cobb?
