He spent the better part of last year trying to get Hillary Clinton into the oval office, and now he has set his sights on Judge Roy Moore.
Former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore is a Donald Trump Republican. Despite not being endorsed by Trump (a move that the President publicly admitted may have been a mistake), Moore campaigned as the ultimate iconoclast and soundly defeated his establishment-backed opponent in the GOP Senate primary election. Fearing that Moore's victory may spell doom for weak moderate establishment incumbents, Flake went on the attack in an attempt to spark infighting and division within the Republican Party against Moore.
"I think that when we disagree with something so fundamental like that, we ought to stand up and say, that's not right, that's not our party, that is not us," Flake said, referring to comments Moore had made against radical Islamist Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) over a decade ago.
