ABBA unveil their incredible digital avatars ahead of their '360 degree immersive show'...

• By GERAINT LLEWELLYN and SEAN O'GRADY

There's only a month before their avatar's take to the stage.

And in anticipation of their first show ABBA have released images of their digital selves that will perform as part of their new ABBA Voyage concerts in a purpose built London stadium.

The holograms have been created following weeks and months of motion-capture and performance techniques.

In the shots the pop pioneers resemble their much younger shelves and are dressed in 1970s silver sequinned ensembles.

An 850-strong team from Industrial Light & Magic, the company founded by Star Wars creator George Lucas, led the company's first foray into music.

Agneta Fältskog, now 72, looked gorgeous in the snap as she gazed into the camera looking like she did at the height of the band's fame.

Her blonde hair falling in a relaxed curl, the talented singer sports a disco inspired V-neck blouse.

Fellow vocalist Anni-Frid Lyngstad, 76, who now sports more faded locks, looked equally youthful with her trademark fiery red hair.

In a similar sequin outfit, the singer looked beautiful as she donned a smokey eye and a simple nude lip.

Songwriter Bjorn Ulvaeus , 77, looked even more different as she showed off a freshly shaven face.

His blonde hair, which is now a distinguished salt and pepper colour, styled in a shaggy bob.

Fellow composer Benny Andersson's avatar sported a more svelte appearance, his blonde hair thick and bountiful.

The 75-year-old's younger self sported a blonde beard as he too gazed into the camera.
