Isaiah Lee, 23, was arrested on May 3 at the Hollywood Bowl after allegedly rushing the stage and tackled comedian Dave Chappelle, pointing a gun at him that turned out to be a replica gun containing a small knife. Lee was reportedly beaten by people attending the show and was taken to the hospital. Lee was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, but Soros-backed Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón will not bring felony charges against the knife-wielding man.

As TGP's Kristinn Taylor reported, Dave Chappelle was attacked on stage Tuesday night during a performance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles at the Netflix Is a Joke Fest. A man rushed the stage and lunged at Chappelle in an effort to take him down.

According to TMZ, the attacker was armed with a replica handgun with a knife attached.

"Law enforcement tells TMZ, the attacker actually pointed the gun at Chapelle as he rushed him. We're told the gun was not real, it was a replica of a semi-automatic. It also weirdly had a knife attached to the gun…We're told Dave was ok but the attacker was injured and taken by stretcher to an ambulance. We're told he's currently in the hospital. LAPD sources tell us, the man was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon."
