Minnesota: Trump Reacts to Alleged Somali Fraud. State Workers Accuse Gov. Tim Walz of Ignoring...
• By PBS, News Nation and Fox NewsThe Somali community in Minnesota has allegedly engaged in multiple fraudulent social services schemes (taxpayer-subsidized food, autism and housing programs). They have benefited by billions of dollars, according to estimates. Some of the money has reportedly been sent back to Somalia to the al-Qaeda linked al-Shabaab terror group.
Trump responded by saying that the welfare rate is 88% in the Somali community and that he does not want them in the US. He said the US should stop taking in garbage and said that Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is garbage. Democrats are calling him a racist. He said that ICE will now focus on the illegal aliens in the Somali community, but most are legal US citizens. He also enacted a travel ban against 19 countries.
The Minnesota Department of Human Service Employees account, which says it consists of more than 480 current staff members, posted on X that Governor Tim Walz "systematically retaliated against whistleblowers using monitoring, threats, repression, and did his best to discredit fraud reports."
Trump responded to massive fraud committed by the Somali community in Minnesota and said that the welfare rate is 88% and that he does not want them in the US. He said that their country stinks and that it is hell. He added that our country is at a tipping point and that we are going to go the wrong way of we keep taking in garbage. He then called Ilhan Omar 'garbage'. He said that these are people who do not contribute, but only complain. He advocated for letting them go back to Somalia to fix it.
News Nation reported that the largest concentration of ethnic Somalis in the US is in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area with 87,000 people. Nearly 58% were born in the US and among the foreign born, 87% are naturalized citizens.
ICE will now focus on illegal aliens in the Somali community.
