Have Unions Become Irrelevant in the 21st Century?

By Susan Hustwick It is no secret that I am not a union sympathizer. I have long held the belief that unions will be the destruction of this great nation and have no place in our society. Whether or not you think that is a fair statement, I just have an aversion to groups formed with the belief that they can produce a better society, but slowly sink into the grip of greed, corruption and unfair negotiations that cost government, in particular, more than they can pay. In reality, union ideology is the antithesis of a democratic society. You can vote on issues .................[]
