US Military Repositioning Forces Near Libya To Provide Flexibility And Options

• BusinessInsider.com/

The U.S. is moving military assets in the Middle East in an effort to provide "flexibility [and] options," according to Reuters (via Al Jazeera). The news comes moments after UK Prime Minister David Cameron announced that he was not ruling out military action in Libya, and may help support the opposition by arming them. Both countries appear to be working on a no-fly zone agreement for the country. All of this comes in the midst of chatter than pro-Qaddafi forces are launching a counter offensive in the east of the country. There now seems to be increasing agreement between the U.S. and UK that action may soon be needed in Libya, and the two countries with ample power-projection capabilities will be willing to act.
