Representative Phil Gingrey from the Republican Study Committee has some great points in his arguments against public unions being able to haggle for more money on the dime of the taxpayer.
What I personally don’t like is the ability to have unions tout for more taxes, fees, licensing costs and so on to bring in more revenue to have the government officials wanting their votes take that money and increase wages and benefits to the unions, only to have the unions support the election campaigns with money directly, indirectly, with people, shirts, hats, signs and phone banks, only to have the unions then start urging for more and more money through taxes and such to go to the government to repeat the cycle....
