Police said a stun gun was used on a man multiple times after he resisted an officer during a traffic stop in Fife.
According to Fife police Lt. Tom Thompson, a Fife officer made a traffic stop on the on ramp of southbound I-5 at the Port of Tacoma Road.
Thompson said the driver challenged and threatened the officer, who used a stun gun on the man.
Thompson said the man told the officer, "I think I can take you," during the altercation.
Police said the stun gun had no effect the first time it was used, so the officer used the stun gun a second time. When the driver tried to get into his car, the officer once again applied the stun gun and the man was then taken into custody.
