Justices Decline to Hear Appeal From Chinese Detainees

The Supreme Court said Monday that it would not hear an appeal from five Chinese Muslims detained at Guantánamo Bay who seek to be released into the United States. There were no noted dissents, but Justice Stephen G. Breyer, joined by three other justices, issued a statement explaining their reasoning.
