Forcefully stepping into an explosive Middle East debate, President Barack Obama on Thursday endorsed a key Palestinian demand for the borders of its future state and prodded Israel to accept that it can never have a truly peaceful nation based on "permanent occupation."

So, Israel stole the land from Jordan and not Palestine.  That makes it much easier to stomach.  Douche.

one need not read an article when the introduction demonstrates an incredible level of ignorance, or a willingness to lie without shame. That third image --- 1949 to 1967 where the large area is labeled Palestine. That was not palestine. That was part of a country called Jordan. You may have heard of it. Jordan lost that part of their country because, although advised not to do so by Israel, Jordan decided to join the other Arab countries in their foolish attempt to wipe out Israel. (Go read the Arab newspapers of the time, if you think that was not their intent) For the better part of 18 years, Jordan and the Arab nations could have Created a Palestinian state on the west bank any time that they wanted. You may wish to ask yourselves why they chose not to do so. Perhaps it was a Zionist plot.
