When folks head out to cut Christmas trees in the National Forest- do they get stopped by federal officers on U.S. Highway 101 for a quick check & inspection to validate permits, vehicle contents & cargo? Let's avoid the feel of living in a police state featuring random/suspicionless stops on U.S. Highway 101, staged news blackouts, secret arrests & rejected FOIA requests by going with honest management of public information.
