While the U.S. Citizenship attaches to the person, the Constitution attaches to the land. Therefore, all people on the land in the various states of the union, no matter where you come from originally, are protected from interference by the Federal corporation and its franchises. This is stated clearly in the 9th Amendment, "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people."
