Wisconsin Citizens Dragged From Public Meeting For Video Recording

• Photography Is Not a Crime

A group of citizens who were quietly video recording a Wisconsin  State Assembly session Tuesday were dragged out by police, even though state law clearly allows them to do so.

In fact, the first citizen to get dragged out even offered to show the cops the law they are paid to enforce.

But they already had their marching orders from Speaker Pro Tempore Bill Kramer.

Here is the part that is currently missing in much of the law studies in the U.S. ...

Start from scratch. Consider a time when there was no man-made law. Man-made law did not come about randomly or haphazardly. There was always reason, thinking and spirit that went into man-made law.

No matter the phraseology of any law (man-made), if the spirit is not considered, the phraseology can be turned into any meaning that crafty people desire.

When the Constitution of the United States was penned, it was penned for one reason only. It was penned to make the United States Government a little stronger than it was under the Articles of Confederation. It was not penned for empire building. It was not penned to take away any of the freedoms of the people. It was not penned to tax the income of the people. It was penned solely to maintain and uphold the freedom of the people. This was part of the spirit of the Constitution.

The SPIRIT of the Constitution was to add enough strength to Government to keep the people totally free. That's it. That's the spirit of the Constitution. That is what the spirit of all laws must be, because all the laws flow from the spirit of the Constitution.

If the spirit of the Constitution is not considered in the interpretation of the laws, the laws can be made to mean and say almost anything. To find out what the spirit of the Constitution really is, one needs to read the Federalist and Anti-federalist papers. And, it would help to read any other materials written by the founding fathers of our nation, as well.

Many of the laws that are made today, have bypassed the spirit of the Constitution. They might be totally legal within the confines of the meanings of the words. But if they don't conform to the Spirit of the Constitution, they are illegal laws... and the only reason that they exist is that they have not been brought before the courts in the proper way for testing against the spirit.

I applaud the nation's judges, those who work very hard to keep from changing any lawsuit brought before them, while at the same time trying as hard as they can to judge by the spirit of the Constitution. Not an easy task.

PureTrust and Bakadude: I don’t know what your mutual admiration is all about, but I enjoy reading both of you. Although I totally disagree with PureTrust, I observed that no personal attacks are coming from him. I also sensed that Bakadude is "desperate" in looking for discussants that could at least rise to his level of knowledge without being so murderously grumpy and homicidal when they jump into this fight ring called Freedom Forum.

For that I accept PureTrust’s showing that he is a gentleman, and appreciate his gesture of thanking us.

Back to our intellectual sparring, gentlemen!

To PureTrust … this might be long, but it is my last piece on this subject.

It is not difficult to see where you are going in this discussion. We are arguing from a different viewpoint – you as a Law Rationalist, and we from the Academe as [let me invent this word for clarity of understanding] "Lawyalists". We defend the law according to how it is constitutionally created, and we strike it down according to how and why the U.S. Supreme Court should declare it null and void. Now as you can see, that’s what we are in the world of J.D.s, not of Jedis in Sci-fi version, which those who enjoy their ad hominem think we are.

On the other hand, you "rationalize" the law, and you come up with "good" laws and "illegal" laws – never mind what the legislatures say or do. If that’s what you think law is all about, who am I to take that away from you?

If you really believe that through laws Government is "raping" the people and "plundering" them, that’s your take – I assure you that we are NOT going there.

It might be difficult for you to defend that position though, not from us from in the Academe, but from the people or the reading public that might mischievously think of you as something odd, something unique, or something else.

Of course there will be a "few" bucket-kickers in life perhaps who would jump on board with you – i.e. especially those who couldn’t pay their mortgage and losing their home angrily blame the Government not the Casino where they are everyday -- but for millions of normal thinking Americans across the country who disagree with the likes of Larken Rose … this guy who wants Americans to believe that those who got their education from school are all "slaves" of the Government -- it would be hard for me to spare you from the angry crowd’s lynching mood.

Recently, a "truther" preached to the crowd on top of his voice while the gathering people was solemnly and silently remembering and honoring their dead on Ground Zero in that 911 Memorial Day – telling them that it was the Government, not the Al Qaeda terrorists, who murdered their love ones right on the spot where he was standing. The guy was extremely lucky when the police "arrested" him and took him away before the lynching crowd could reach him.

I say this to you because as I said before you have a gift above your shoulder who CAN argue – not like the rest who can’t -- and for us this space is lonely without your company. The only dividing line is we don’t share the same view on what the Government means to life in a democracy like ours.

I want to thank you people - bakadude and JVdville - for prompting me in directions that are showing the people who read this forum topic, where to go to find out what LAW is really all about. On my own, I probably would not have assembled this info all in the same topic discussion. Thanks.

Check out Maxims of Law. I would recommend starting with http://www.lawfulpath.com/ref/bouvier/maxims.shtml. Compare these fundamental, basic, overshadowing laws to the laws that Congress and state Assemblies make. You will find multitudes of illegal laws being constructed by Government all the time.

On top of that, these illegal laws have come to be based in contract. This is a thing that the United States Government did to itself through the 17th Amendment, and passed on to the states over the following decades - see: http://teamlaw.net/history.htm for the clearest, straight-forward picture of what happened.

If the people understood how Government is raping and plundering them, and that the political arena has become simply a place that a bunch of people vie for better income rather than attempting to bring us back to what legal law is, and that while politicians are seeking their own good rather than the peoples', the private sector - industrial giants, Federal Reserve Bank, yes, and even the BAR Association - has stepped in and taken over the country through lobby, there would be wide-spread rioting.

Well, the people are finding out about it. Let Government willingly change back to what it should be before the real bloodshed starts.

You are right, JV. That’s what I mean when we are dealing with people who think UPSIDE down. But "deep" thinking is what PureTrust have as a gift from above that distinguishes him from the unschooled preachers of hate and violence the likes of Larken Rose and the other lost tribes. Sometimes his passion catches up with him and leads him into overstating his thesis or position in the debate, with fire – which sometimes reminds me of that part of me too, especially when he brings me back to my younger days.

Illegal laws? No such thing. Laws passed by legislatures are always legal. Maybe this guy meant "unconstitutional laws" the court declared as such. No sane person or may be sane but definitely ignorant can declare a law unconstitutional [or illegal *!#!]. Only the court of law can do that.

This is the problem when street-educated lawyers attempt to discuss law with J.D.s. They become angry Jedis in Star Wars as they live in their world of fantasy. Believe it or not they even become legalese lecturers of law to, of all people, professors of law! Can you imagine how crude, "skewed" or foolish that is?

And don't worry, bakadude. If you decide to go watch Marc in traffic court in person, and if the prosecutor and judge think they are shrew enough to attempt to win the case without due process of law, even you will recognize that they have bypassed due process. Marc will make certain that everybody present sees it.

I apologize. There is one other thing that Government does in traffic cases, namely, if they know that they can't win by getting the motorist to agree against himself, they dismiss the case.

Check out the traffic info at http://marcstevens.net/, and then go to traffic court with Marc, as I have, and watch him beat them at their own game.

No misunderstanding.

The only 2 ways that Government, as it exists today, can make any traffic ticket stick are:

1. Get the motorist to agree, or appear to agree, to the ticket and the punishment;

2. Do not give the motorist due process of law.

That's it.

All - 100% of - the rest of the Government action in any traffic case has to do with making at least one of the above 2 things happen.

Perfect landing on the wrong airport …

PureTrust, my friend, you have mistaken as something else the RED TRAFFIC LIGHT I mentioned as an example of traffic law that when it is on, all civilian motorists – except fire trucks, ambulance or police cars in hot pursuit – must obey [meaning motorists must STOP] … it is not the TRAFFIC RED LIGHT CAMERA that catches red traffic light violators red handed. The police traffic department slaps you with a traffic violation ticket where the $ amount of fine is stated.

When the RED TRAFFIC LIGHT law I mentioned is violated, you either send yourself and other people to the hospital or to their grave. And if such red traffic light violation caused no injury to yourself and to others, you are "arrested" and booked for traffic violation.

By the way, just very recently [not more than a year or so] I won a case for a motorist allegedly caught by a TRAFFIC RED LIGHT CAMERA. The motorist was making a "protected" right turn when the camera clicked on him. The traffic red light camera was installed in such a way that by itself it violates traffic regulations. Under the existing traffic law, motorists cannot be cited for traffic violation when they are making a "protected" right turn.

But most of all, I was able to prove in court [citing statistics how much millions of USdollar income could be earned from red light traffic citations per annum caught by camera] that the City and the manufacturer of the traffic red light gadget entered into a contract to raise revenue to fund the improvement of the city police department with a certain gross percentage of "earnings" going to the manufacturer.

This is the one that you are commenting on – which I must admit is a perfect landing for you, only it is a touchdown on the WRONG airport.

Consider all the laws in the whole country. Consider them all - 100% of them. None of them are directed at the people except in a very secondary way.

None of the laws take away the freedom of the people. For example. A red-light law does not take away a persons freedom to run a red light. A law against people owning and using a fully automatic machine gun does not keep a person from doing so. A person is FREE to do almost anything.

What is the law for? The law is there to tell Government what it can do in the case of a person breaking a law. A person is free to break any law. The Government is free to act on any breaking of the law.

Once you come to realize this, and to understand the position that Government has placed itself into - a Government of contractual agreements - then you start to see that the laws are only threats and no more, until you, as a sovereign Citizen agree with Government that that you are under their laws. And they make it very hard - as hard as they can - to keep you from NOT agreeing that they have the authority.

About government lies, move over Bakadude, I’m joining you. Those whose delusion that what are happening or what had happened like 911 and the killing of Osama bin Laden “are all government lies” are far too short by more than a mile from accomplishing this attempt to distort reality. I like your philosophical thinking: “Does the truth always end where those lies begin?” If the Government did some lying, so did the “truthers”. By making their “theory” the “truth”, is a despicable lie – really requires no brain to see how this emotional manipulation works.

And to think that the “truthers” can force their “truth” on us or in the mind of the American public that thinks not the way they do is purely delusional.

Many of the laws are unlawful or downright illegal. For example. A red-light law is an unlawful law because it takes away the freedom of a traveler. It is used in an illegal way. It is used to generate inappropriate income for the state or a municipality.

The only reason that Government gets away with making it stick is that they have twisted meanings of the wording in the law so that a person says something that he doesn't mean, and doesn't know that he said it... according to its legal meaning.

The fact that the person acknowledges that he is under the authority of traffic law, first by getting an license (something that is not required legally), and then making a contract with the police officer by keeping a ticket that wasn't really meant for him legally, and then by making a contract with a judge in court by acknowledging his name and address with the judge, he unwittingly has agreed to whatever the judge decides is the law.

Until the American people wake up and realize that they are being tricked into agreeing their way into a guilty verdict just by acknowledging the court system - something that they are not required to do - Government is going to keep on stealing from them, keep on turning their freedom against them, keep on making things that look like legal laws but are not, keep on raping and pillaging them.

And what makes it all illegal on the part of Government? The simple fact that Government is doing something different than the people think that it is doing. So there is no agreement. There is no meeting of the minds. There is no case against a person for anything he does, except that the person has accidentally and unwittingly agreed that there is.

In the past - a hundred years ago - things might have been different. But not today. And all you need do to prove it to yourself, is to look up in the legal dictionaries and encyclopedias what the meaning of a client of an attorney is. A client is a ward of the court. By simply hiring an attorney, one becomes a ward of the court - no more rights. All the rights belong to the attorneys and the judge.

If the person knew what he was doing, that would be one thing. But he does not know. So there is no meeting of the minds, no agreement, no attorney client relationship, no ward of the court position IF HE FINDS OUT AND FIGHTS IT.

That is what illegal and unlawful law is about. And when you start to stand up for what is right and lawful, you will be hounded and persecuted by the courts, because they stand to lose a lot of money if the whole country wakes up and finds out that it is only by direct, individual agreement with each and every person that Government has any authority at all.

Your Pun: "Find out what is right in His eyes and do it, and He will commend you for all eternity." Not only that – if you do it right and don’t violate the law, you avoid arrest and police raids!!!

Your Pun: "But in cowardly fashion, turn from what is right, and He may condemn you to the eternal torment you have asked for by your actions in this life." Absolutely right! It is right to obey traffic rules. But if you "turn from what is right …" like violating the red traffic light – you go through it like a spoiled brat in the name of your freedom to do whatever you want – you do not only send yourself and others to the hospital or kill yourself and other innocent people but you are going straight to Hell where your "eternal torment" awaits you.

So my advice still stands intact -- don’t be silly. Avoid arrest or police raids by NOT breaking the law. Disrupting legislature proceedings, selling unpasteurized raw milk and milk products that endanger the health of the nation or engaging in drug-trafficking and related criminal activities and confronting the raiding SWAT Team with an assault rifle like what drug-ring member ex-Marine Jose Guerena did, are BREAKING the law! You do not only end up arrested but also end up as dead as cold cucumber, and your "eternal torment" awaits you in Hell …!

Don't be stupid. Stand up for what is right even if it means arrest and incarceration. Why?

How long is your life here on earth? 60 years? 70? 80? 100? More than 100? Then you stand before the "Judge of all the earth" who will determine your life status for all eternity.

Find out what is right in His eyes and do it, and He will commend you for all eternity. But in cowardly fashion, turn from what is right, and He may condemn you to the eternal torment you have asked for by your actions in this life.

Don’t be silly. Avoid Arrest.

Avoid arrest by not breaking the rules or violating the law. If you chose to break the rules or violate the law, it’s like going against the traffic red light. And you know what’s going to happen … not just a police arrest but a tragedy worse than a holocaust in your life or somebody’s life.

Stay within the rules or law, and you will be fine. Don’t give cops the opportunity to arrest you. If the stories you read are not "slanted", you will understand why rule breakers and law violators are arrested or raided by authorities. But you don’t see the WHY part of those arrests in the headlines of these stories, much more read it in the story itself ["angled" or "slanted"] … sooooo how would you understand?

Do you see where I’m going? No "propaganda" … saying that is charging the windmill. Read the knowledge in Journalism how stories are written or reported that I am sharing with you. Stick to it and reign in, control or administrate that imagination from terribly missing the point or from going wild. Find another "punching bag" for your daily mental exercise.

You are awesome, JV. If you live in Southern California, drop by and let’s spend an evening of knowledge-sharing over a bottle of this precious after-dinner double-super XO brandy I preserved for VIPs.

Let’s discuss this disturbing subject of our time: The beleaguered cops are forced by their duty under the law to conduct more arrests and public-dragging on and off camera of rowdy public haters in the days ahead for as long as they violate the law, including the likes of drug-trafficker ex-Marine Jose Guerena, and even conduct more frequent raids of sellers of raw milk and unpasteurized milk products that endanger the health of the American public. When will they learn?

Those who hate and fight cops, can’t win – or can they? To eliminate cops or to get rid of Government is a punch of the man in the Moon – it is not real … it is not even within the realm of possibility … will it happen? Maybe when the crow turns white!

HEADLINES THAT MAKE YOU MAD... Don’t allow yourself to fight somebody else’s war against cops! Know what a "slanted" story means!

This headline is misleading: "Wisconsin Citizens Dragged From Public Meeting For Video Recording …State law clearly allows public meetings to be recorded …" Yes, it is your right by law to record … but you must exercise that right PROPERLY, not DISRUPTIVELY to that point where it becomes impossible for the Assembly to continue its proceedings. That part of the story was obviously "killed". The editorial objective is to make you hate cops and the Government law enforcement officers represent. Through the complicit Media, radical extremists need you to fight their war, for them!

If you are disruptive, you loose that right to video or record in a peaceful order the rules require. The Courts of Law and the Legislature [i.e. Congress, State Assembly, City/Town Council] are protected governmental institutions under the Constitution. For their survival, they are constitutionally mandated to promulgate rules and procedures to carry out their function.

It is your right to be present in Court, but if you are disruptive, the Judge will not only throw you out of the courtroom but will slap you with contempt of court and will either spank you with a stiff fine or will send you to jail if not both. If you resist, you will be dragged out of the room FORCIBLY. Shouting on top of your voice that your right was violated [as this rowdy man in the Video demonstrated], is nothing but a cry of a spoiled child in tantrum that deserved to be spanked even more.

Similarly, the Legislature in session will not only order security officers to drag you out of the room, or send you to jail for contempt, but must lecture on you how to behave like an adult, and must teach you how you should use your right properly. In short, you are a juvenile delinquent on record that needs to learn more about life, starting from knowing how the Legislature functions. This applies to ordinary citizens, and to members of the Media that think that because they are the distinguished representative of the separate and independent Fourth Estate they arrogantly consider themselves as the infallible Lords of the Ring, with all the freedom to do whatever they want.

Anyway, the "slanted" title of this story is similar to "Mother sues police for shooting unarmed 14-year-old son to death" also published here at FP.com. I warned the public not to trust the story. You can read it in full, including my comments:

"David Jackson … your observation that this story is rigged or "one-sided" or "biased" comes from an eye that had studied journalism like I did. I will share something with you – and also for the information of the innocent reading public that’s being taken for a ride every time stories like this are flashed on the screen. I have been holding on to this for quite sometime … but now that you brought it up, it’s time to bring it out.

In the study of Journalism, you will know what is a "slant" or a "slanted" story. It is the "angle" of the story a reporter, an editorial writer or the publishing media only wanted to project to the readers, even if to "kill" the truth of the story becomes necessary to achieve that purpose.

"In this story, the "angle" is to throw mud at the cops. It does not matter whether these are good or bad cops. For example, Larken Rose, the unschooled preacher of violence that has a good spot in this freedom website, summarized it in a sentence … that "only a dead cop is a good cop". This is the "angle" of the story.

"In the background story of the peace officer that reportedly shot the 14-year old boy, the "angle" was written about this cop that acts like a loose cannon, bereft of discipline, etc. and has been reprimanded about 16 times, and yet with a smoking gun in his hand, still remained in the service. But did the story state why this cop was still in the service? No, not at all… that was "killed". Maybe his good quality as a cop outweighed his bad quality as the "angle" projects, who knows. But that has to be "killed".

"Why would a cop shoot an unarmed 14-year-old boy? Does that make sense? Would that not be one of the main points of interest on the part of the reader to know? This omission cannot be found in any part of the story. Such a "kill" is preposterous to a schooled journalist like me.

"And there is much more to this fraudulently reported story.

Take note of the fact that this story was originally reported by Raw Story.com, a radical progressive website that allegedly does investigative reporting and "angle" it to hate primarily the GOP, and ultimately the U.S. Government. It is picked up and reported by hate-cop and hate-Government reporting apples in the same rotten basketful of freedom websites reporting apples.

"By the way, it is pertinent for you and the public to know that Newsweek described RawStory.com as "Muck, raked …" synonymous to mud-thrower at its kindest, and at its worst "dirt" or "sewage". These are not kind words for a website that claims a 1.6 million readership even if you are one of those predisposed to buy the London Bridge based on the sales story RawStory.com published on the Web.

"The previous story Raw Story.com reported and picked up in this website was "Wisconsin Protesters Arrested For Filming Lawmakers". It should have been "Wisconsin Protesters Filming Lawmakers Were Arrested For Disrupting Proceedings". But Raw Story.com has an "angle". It did not report why protesters were arrested! They were "disruptive" of the lawmakers’ proceedings. The protesters violated the rule on order, viz: "recording, filming or photographing such a meeting in a manner that interferes with the conduct of the meeting or the rights of the participants …In the report, this is what was "killed". Reading the "slanted" story of the Raw Story.com like this would make the readers hate police officers or the Government that conducts arrests like a headless chicken or like an abominable mindless maniac. That was the "angle" RawStory.com achieved.

"Having this knowledge of Journalism learned in school is both a blessing and a curse. You are happy that you can share your knowledge with others, but at the same time with this knowledge, you feel sad to know that people are taken for a ride to achieve a clandestine and selfish purpose. You see it here and other freedom websites that attract writers or reporters in pursuit of their agenda."

Take note of the fact that this story was originally reported by Raw Story.com, a radical progressive website that allegedly does investigative reporting and “angle” it to hate primarily the GOP, and ultimately the U.S. Government.  It is picked up and reported by hate-cop and hate-Government reporting apples in the same rotten basketful of freedom websites reporting apples.

“By the way, it is pertinent for you and the public to know that Newsweek described RawStory.com as “Muck, raked …” synonymous to mud-thrower at its kindest, and at its worst “dirt” or “sewage”. These are not kind words for a website that claims a 1.6 million readership even if you are one of those predisposed to buy the London Bridge based on the sales story RawStory.com published on the Web.

“The previous story Raw Story.com reported and picked up in this website was “Wisconsin Protesters Arrested For Filming Lawmakers”. It should have been “Wisconsin Protesters Filming Lawmakers Were Arrested For Disrupting Proceedings”. But Raw Story.com has an “angle”. It did not report why protesters were arrested! They were “disruptive” of the lawmakers’ proceedings. The protesters violated the rule on order, viz: “recording, filming or photographing such a meeting in a manner that interferes with the conduct of the meeting or the rights of the participants …In the report, this is what was “killed”. Reading the “slanted” story of the Raw Story.com like this would make the readers hate police officers or the Government that conducts arrests like a headless chicken or like an abominable mindless maniac. That was the “angle” RawStory.com achieved.

“Having this knowledge of Journalism learned in school is both a blessing and a curse. You are happy that you can share your knowledge with others, but at the same time with this knowledge, you feel sad to know that people are taken for a ride to achieve a clandestine and selfish purpose.  You see it here and other freedom websites that attract writers or reporters in pursuit of their agenda.”
