Government Aims to Build a ‘Data Eye in the Sky’

The most optimistic researchers believe that these storehouses of “big data” will for the first time reveal sociological laws of human behavior — enabling them to predict political crises, revolutions and other forms of social and economic instability, just as physicists and chemists can predict natural phenomena.

I would rather be invaded by something coming from Outer Space then to have my own government going behind my back to watch me and then to have a small 12 member group decide that I need to die because of my beliefs. These people that decide such things are just as human as the rest of us, so that means they and their families can bleed also like the rest of us.
