Senate bill powers up state online sales taxes

• Reuters

State governments would be able to collect online sales taxes under a bill due to be introduced in the Senate on Wednesday, said sources familiar with the bill.

Supporters of the online sales tax collection requirement include Wal-Mart Stores Inc, Target Corp and other "big box" retailers who argue they are at a disadvantage against online-only competitors.

Screw Wal Mart and their horse. Now they know how all the little family businesses they "priced out" of existence felt. I'd say, just don't buy anything from these scum, anyway! We do way too much to keep China in business as it is. Wal Mart could do the world a favor and move to China. We really don't need their sub-standard poisoned and poorly-manufactured goods. As for any other "big box", the KMA doctrine certainly is applicable.
