Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) on Wednesday took the the Senate floor to
filibuster the nomination of John Brennan to be the next director of the
Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
“I’m here to filibuster John Brennan’s nomination to be director of
CIA,” Paul explained. “I will speak for as long as it takes.”
The Kentucky Republican is demanding answers from the Obama
administration about whether American citizens can be targeted by
government drones within U.S. borders.
