Despite several amendments and revisions, Russell Pearce has ignored the concerns of pro-liberty folks and conservatives regarding the national id provision in his bill. Arizona will have a national id on Friday, April 16th unless YOU take action NOW.

Tell them to VOTE NO on SB1070 as written because of Pearce's refusal to stop the MVD and DPS from turning over your license information to the feds.

In SB1070 it states
Subsection E, E1, and E2 under 11-1051 under Section 2 allows for any political subdivision or agency of the state to exchange data of any person for any license with the US Department of Homeland Security.
This includes
-DPS to provide concealed carry permit information to the feds
-AZ Game and Fish to provide hunting license information to the feds
-MVD to provide your drivers license information, including your residence information to the feds
Pearce continues to insist "it's not in there". Ironically even the email he sent to his supporters on Thursday night says it is!

We've been saying that it's section E, E1 and E2 under 11-1051 on page 1 which contains the exchange of law abiding citizens data with homeland security.

The "final" version of the bill has it in section F, F1 and F2. Everyone I'm bccing have put E, E1 and E2 in their analysis. Please
change that to F, F1 and F2 and link using the link above which is the
most up to date version.
I fully expect that once cogent criticisms of the above version
circulate in the news, that Pearce will "find" the "real" final version
of the bill and we'll get another version switching sections around
again. Just be prepared. But right now, the provision handing over law
abiding citizens data to homeland security, thereby turning Arizona
licenses into national ids, is in 11-1051 F, F1 and F2. Please update any analyses you have posted.

Dear Members of the Arizona House of Representatives
Russell pierces bill SB1070 is an egregious step in the WRONG DIRECTION for the state of Arizona. This Bill will turn over the Lawless FEDERAL GOVERNMENT a database of all Arizonan information VOLUNTARILY when the State of Arizona passed a resolution to NOT participate in the REAL ID act from a MANDATORY standpoint. This is absurd! The Federal government is moving to a complete socialism and the State of Arizona must do everything it can to prevent this from happening.
This bill SB1070 has a sneak provision in them that turns the Arizona Driver’s License into a national ID. Section 2. 11-1051, subsections F.1-3. specifically require that the state obtain prior clearance from the US Department of Homeland Security before you can obtain or renew your Driver’s License. This is clearly UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
